Genetic Counseling Education

We understand there can be a lot of confusion around what genetics and genetic counseling entail, and it can be important to learn some basics about these things before ever engaging in them. We are proud to offer limited monthly time with a licensed genetic counselor to review some basics about what genetics and genetic counseling is, and go into some questions those at risk of genetic ALS and FTD may have about these topics.

This is a purely educational service and no formal genetic counseling or testing will take place via this program. Information on where to access testing and counseling may be discussed in the educational session.
